Job Description
We're partnering with our client, a leading ICT solutions provider, to find a dynamic Account Manager who thrives on both farming and hunting – someone passionate about building lasting relationships and closing new business.
This role is ideal for a strategic sales professional who understands the government supply chain, has a strong ICT background, and brings 8–10 years'' experience in technical sales (including end-user solutions, cloud, backup, storage, and Microsoft services).
💡 What You’ll Do:
✅ Own and grow a portfolio of public & private sector clients
✅ Drive new business development and identify cross-sell opportunities
✅ Act as the go-to person for client needs, escalations, and solution alignment
✅ Promote a wide range of solutions: Data Protection, HCI, Cloud, Backup, Microsoft Services, and more
✅ Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored proposals
✅ Stay ahead of industry trends and procurement processes
✅ Report on sales performance and pipeline health
Requirements
🎯 You’ll Excel If You Have:
- A Degree in Business, IT, or Marketing
- Proven success in public sector ICT sales
- Strong knowledge of government bidding processes
- Excellent people, communication, and negotiation skills
- A self-starter mindset with high emotional intelligence
- CRM proficiency and analytical capabilities
