My client is seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales HCI and Virtualisation Engineer to provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process for hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) and virtualization solutions. The role involves working closely with the sales team to design, propose, and present tailored solutions that align with client requirements while showcasing the value of modern HCI and virtualization technologies.

Key responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions to understand client needs, creating solution architectures, preparing technical proposals, and delivering impactful presentations and demonstrations. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of leading technologies from vendors such as Dell, HPE, Huawei, VMware, and Nutanix, while acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients. Collaboration with post-sales teams to ensure seamless solution deployment, as well as providing training and knowledge-sharing within the team, are also integral parts of this position.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in pre-sales or technical support for HCI and virtualization environments, with proven expertise in solution design and integration. Strong communication, problem-solving, and client engagement skills are essential, alongside the ability to translate technical requirements into business value.

To qualify, candidates must hold the following certifications:
•    Dell EMC – Midrange Storage Solutions Design, PowerEdge Operate, PowerEdge Foundations V2
•    HPE – ASE Compute Solutions / ASE Storage Solutions
•    Huawei – HCIA Storage / HCIP Storage / HCIE Storage
•    VMware – VMware Certified Professional, Data Center Virtualization 2024 (VCP-DCV8)
